anything but tears

 i'm so sick of tears
morning tears
afternoon tears
tears in the shower
hiding in the laundry room tears
peace is too much to ask for
when you're suffering
and grief is not something
i can prepare for before
you're gone
but give me rage
or distraction or
purpose 
or anything but tears.
